Cleanliness is a priority for each and every project, and you’ll find that we take some additional steps that aren’t typical in our industry to contain the mess and the dust often associated with construction. The work area will be contained as much as possible by plastic barrier walls with zipper entrances. Floors will be protected to help keep the shoes of our craftsmen clean to minimize the transfer of dust outside the work zone. Carpeted areas in the path of tradesmen will be covered. We will block off the cold air returns to keep the dust from entering your furnace and then being pushed to all other areas of the house. Each and every job also has an air scrubber with a HEPA filter that does a particularly good job of removing airborne dust before it can get to the rest of your home. Our craftsmen will clean up their work areas at the end of each day.
Homes built prior to 1978 might contain lead paint, so we check for lead prior to renovation work beginning, and always follow Lead Safe work practices when lead is detected. Gaining certifications for lead safe and OSHA (general safety) keeps our team on top of the latest advances in health and safety for our team as well as your family.
This is your home, and while it also becomes a worksite, we never forget about the families that we are impacting on a daily basis. Mission Builders LLC will communicate with you directly throughout the entire process to ensure building schedules are as convenient as possible for the homeowner.
Experience the Livable Remodeling Difference
During your remodeling project, dust will get everywhere. On the floor, furniture, glassware, dishes, even your toothbrush. But dust is more than an inconvenience—it poses a serious threat to your family’s health, your pets and your belongings. That’s where BuildClean comes in:
FastCap’s new 3rd Hand Magnetic Self-Closing Dust Door brings Star Trek convenience to the job site. No more fumbling with zippers every time you leave or enter your dust contained work area-just walk right through! The magnetic strip sewn into in the center flap of the door opens easily, then neatly seals itself back up behind you. It even seals itself to the metal rail along the bottom for the greatest possible dust containment. No hands are required, so if you’re toting lumber, the procedure is the same.
Whether you’re working around the home, or on a jobsite, cleanup is easy and efficient when using our extensive line of wet+dry vacuums, HEPA vacuums, industrial vacuums, and ash vacuums. Capturing fine dust from sanding, grinding or cutting is a breeze, and we even have vacuums that meet or exceed EPA and OSHA guidelines.
Constructed using a sturdy, compact cabinet, the Model A600 is a quiet operating air scrubber with two airflow speeds of 300 and 600 CFM. The airflow is directed upwards to avoid disturbing dust on surfaces. Each HEPA filter installed in the model A600 is individually tested and certified at an efficiency rate of 99.99%.
